This was a great read. It had pictures filled with color. I also appreciated that there were some simple diagrams inside about the human body. This book follows a school bus of students that shrink down and end up inside a human body. They go through lots of bodily systems and learn how they function. I really appreciated how on many of the pages were questions for students to think about before reading the page. This allows students to pull from their prior knowledge as well as identify misconceptions. I would use this book when teaching a unit on the human body. Although this book is fiction it includes real facts about the body that may catch the attention of students. It is also appealing because many of the characters have speech bubbles like in comic books. ( )
