This is basically a story about a grouchy immortal woman who swears a lot in @#$ symbols, which really makes her look pretty silly. Also, she inspires bloodlust in others so they go berserk on their enemies or turn against themselves, resulting in plenty of gore. Over the centuries she mixes herself up with Genghis Khan and one of his descendants, Marco Polo, and Vlad Tepes (Dracula).
Unfortunately, the character and everyone around her is unlikeable and the storytelling is a scattershot, choppy, hard-to-follow mess. This is the third sup-par book I've read by Tini Howard (see: Rick and Morty: Pocket Like You Stole It and Assassinistas), so I'm thinking I need to start remembering her name so I can start avoiding her work in the future.
Art's okay though. ( )
