Note: I accessed a digital review copy of this book through Edelweiss. Literary Merit: Great Characterization: Great Recommended: yes Level: 5th grade and above Rise Up! gave enough information about protests and movements to spark interest in older readers but not frighten younger readers. Jo Rippon executed a balanced introduction for younger readers. The images Rippon included were all powerful and, paired with the explanation, gave the reader enough information to note their significance without overstating an opinion. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
