There is a million things happening at once. Every blip or event that happens seems to occur at a certain time. Almost like they are individual catalysts in something major that is predetermined. Every character, every fight, every manufactured "soulmate" has a specific purpose. That is what makes this more than just a sci-fi romance. How this author keeps it all straight is mind boggling. How she made me fall in love with the villain in the story and be empathetic to the fact that she was just as much as a pawn in this greater "battle" goes to show that she is a master in her craft. I cannot wait to see what happens in the last book. That makes me happy to see how it will conclude, hopefully happy, but it also is bittersweet because I've come to love this world and the characters.
