Born into 1950's England has had it's pleasantries, which have been accompanied by surprised faces when I enlighten them that this particular time in England had not changed radically since the poverty stricken times of Dickens. People smiling reluctantly to believe in such times has brought back emotion and in turn brought out my own instances which I believe is not just a story of my life, but a tradition added to my life that has created such wonderful story fulfillment. Indeed these pleasantries have caught the attention of many a person. To not pursue such old times in what is believed to be a modern day environment would leave these moments without substance and character of whom linger in the past, just bursting at the seams to open this momentous page in life's quick passing. Vikings, pirates, kings and queens and of course the North Sea has pounded these ancient lands for centuries. All have wonderful stories still waiting to be released by the storytellers. Many a writer has captivated them briefly telling of the people but not the mysteries that have grown from feelings and such warm radiance that fireside stories can captivate. I bring to you the common folk, the workers, their homes, their lives and their passions shown through my eyes and a way of life in Yorkshire that is abundant with grace and ancestry. Short stories and poems that will bring you deeper into a humorous yet emotional part of life I call England.… (meer)
