This is a wonderful beginner Japanese vegan cookbook. It has all the basic dishes with some tasty sauces that you will want to use on just about everything. Most of the ingredients are easy to find, and if not in your area Amazon had them all. This. Is a good start for learning to develop Japanese flavors ( )

I was given this book today, I'm not a vegan but I don't eat huge amounts of meat either. My girlfriends favourite cuisine is Japanese so it is mine also. On day one I have made the pickled shiitake, curry roux (for later) and kimchi miso hotpot for tea. Every recipe was easy to make, with obtainable ingredients and super tasty. ( )
