It is a trading places scenario in which the bewildered husband (in this version Goofy) learns to appreciate just how intensive housework can be when he agrees to swap roles for the day, with predictably unfortunate results. Fun goofs: Clashing time periods. Much of the setting in the story; the thatched single story home with an open fireplace, the style of clothing worn and various household objects such as the washboard would definitely suggest a post late 17th century setting. But the packaged goods on show 'Sudso' soap powder as well as a packet of commercial 'Oatmeal', not to mention the electric fan used in one scene mean this cannot have been made before the 19th century! I know that I am being overly pedantic about a children's illustrated book, but I did say 'fun' goofs! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
