It's a gentle kind of twist on the super-hero trend, and the story is nicely told. The team work together well to try to stop a blundering giant from trampling all over the village... and there's an unexpected ending which I didn't see coming. This is eighth in the series of books by the same authors, and although intended to be read by newly fluent young readers, it made a good read-aloud too.
