Joram, and the little innocent girly, are the gag-worthy successor of Romeo and Juliet, and the precursors of Edward and Bella.
The story overall screams "Generic Fantasy". So you'll enjoy it but not be blown away. Kind of like a hamburger at McDonalds. It is "food". Good thing this is only a trilogy." ( )
This was the second complete trilogy we read by this author. It's a downer - almost Thomas Covenant depressing - but I remember liking it quite a bit. Like Tom the Leper, I never wanted to read it again, although I still have it around just in case. ( )
I really have not read a Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman book that I have not liked and this series is right on point. I read these books back some years ago in middle school but re-reading them now I am really enjoying them. Simkin would have to be my favorite character but they are all well developed and the plot and storyline are fabulous. Ready to start the third one now and just found out there was a fourth one realeased ten years after these were so gotta find that one too. ( )
