A little bit of romance, some murder mystery that I’d call “cozy-ish” (limited on-page violence with the drowning and murder happening mostly in the past), and with a hint of Alice Hoffman-esque homage to green witchcraft, The Last of the Moon Girls is a touching, mysterious family saga that will appeal to fans of Practical Magic.
