I would recommend this book for children at an intermediate or advanced level. This book is about the history of the Tulsa race massacre and how thousands of African American families were affected by one of the biggest racially motivated attacks in United States history. Although this kind of book may be hard for some children to read and understand, I would introduce this book to a classroom of older elementary or middle school students because it is important for them to understand how something so terrible was ignored and swept under the rug for so long. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
