I think that the relationship between Jack and Swift is a bit of a stretch. In real life I don’t think that 2 people could be so disinterested in commitment and remain a couple. In any case, they do find the yeti, actually a missing-link type creature living in an enclave of mild weather and vegetation in the Himalayas. The bit about who was the government spy had me going for a while; then when he was revealed it seemed obvious even though I didn’t guess. At the end when everyone just leaves them alone, destroying any way in or out of the enclave, I thought that was a bit of a stretch. Especially for a Berkley anthropologist bent on publishing significant work and a hotshot, world famous mountain climber. I don’t think either of them could quiet their egos for long about this. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
