Okay, this is definitely edging into bodice-ripper territory, but it's still a decent series. What's interesting is that, despite the romance element becoming more prominent, the attraction between the two main characters still isn't totally obvious to me. it's kind as if the author says, "Well, I told you she liked bad boys, so just believe it." I don't completely. Worth continuing if you enjoyed the first book as the action parts are definitely a little more exciting. ( )

Loved revisiting this world. This is the second book in the trilogy and does a great job of maintaining the action. I am really enjoying watching the development of all the characters and hope there is a chance this world gets revisited after the trilogy ends as many of the secondary characters are interesting. I am also very glad book three is out in a month. I am eager to see what happens next. ( )
