Thanks for the book ( )

I received a PDF.file copy of this book from the author through a giveaway she had on LibraryThing, and the following is my honest opinion.

With all the things I’m involved in doing as an adult author, blogger, and book reviewer, I needed something to do as a form of escapism. I needed something to do that would return me to the days when I was a young child between 4 and 8, eager to learn and do things that would be fun and tend to grow my young mind.

As a young child, I would have thanked my mommy for having gotten me this very, very, big jumbo book of things to do since we can’t go anywhere because of the sickness that is everywhere. I also miss not going to school because of this and not being with my friends. I love learning new words, improving my doing math, and improving my being able to solve different kinds of problems by myself.

My mommy knows I love to color things with crayons, and this book gave me a lot of things I could color. The mazes made me think of how to get from one place to another without getting stuck. I had fun trying to find words hidden in many letters that helped me know what certain words look like. Doing the many other things the book has, like connecting the dots, by myself without any help, made me feel good.

When I do something good in school, the teacher gives me a gold star, and she gives me even more stars if what I did was very good. If I were the teacher, I would give this book and the person who put this book together 5 GOLD STARS. I think every mommy should give this book to a child like me. ( )

I love how the book have so many fun activities for my little one to do and it makes him more occupied with the book. There is also some counting, writing, mazes, etc. Thank you so much for the book. ( )
