Pretty much what I expect from a novella or .5 in a series order (#2.5 in this case). Pretty superficial fan-service, but a fun quick read since I like the characters. ( )

In this cute novella that concluded Jonah and Calla’s portion of the Alaska Wild story, they’re having quite a few relatives over to stay with them for Christmas, and negotiating wedding plans. As in, imagine two meddling mothers trapped in a small cabin with you while both want you to have your wedding in their hometown instead of where you currently live. Awkward! This had all the makings of a great Alaskan romance. Quirky Alaskan men. And women. Moose roadkill! (loved it!) And Jonah and Calla got their happy ending. And I am sooo happy to see another favorite side character will be continuing this series. This is one of my favorite KA Tucker series and I love Alaskan romances!

I’m bummed that by finishing this book it means that I’m finished with the series!

Though it sounds like the author is going to begin a spin-off featuring Marie, I’d rather it focus on Roy and Delyla. I love a good curmudgeon redemption story! ( )
