won book as early reviewer - but never received the book in the mail. Was disappointed but these things happen.

Nice art and coloring, though the writing and editing, as other reviews have indicated, was not as good as I'd hoped. The story, while promising, missed several opportunities for development and instead relied on well-worn tropes. Hopefully the grammar errors were caught before final publication.

As excited as I was for this book, I was overall disappointed. The concept was good, however it did not seem fully fleshed out, and the writing and character development were lacking. The idea has promise if put through a heavy editing, revision, and review process. (

This is one I hope to revisit and read again. I am not sure if it will get better or worse I just know I want to revisit these characters when my life is a little less stressful. (

I received an early release copy of Air Fay thanks to LibraryThings Early Reviewers program. Unfortunately I will have to echo several of the other reviews, the concept of this book was right up my alley and sounded very interesting but unfortunately the writing did not live up to the concept. Generally I try and stick through even mediocre books but couldn't make it through the first couple of chapters. Might be better suited to a younger audience. (
