Not a bad little murder mystery, although these days it's a little dated. The setting is interesting, being Berlin between the end of the war and the raising of the wall. The cast of characters is big enough to be a little difficult to keep track of at times, but it does give plenty of possible suspects for all the devious happenings. (

Quite servicable mystery with a bit of romance tossed in for good measure at the end. I somewhat lost track of the various clues but mostly managed to follow the final wrap up without finding any gaping holes. Interesting setting of East Berlin well before the Wall was built

I give it a 3.5. I enjoyed the book but not as much as the rest of the series. I think it was the gloom and doom of the Berlin setting right after the war. (
