That said, this is a pretty good, if quite scattered, mystery. Author Mitchel surrounds her basic plots with so much folderol that the reader should just succumb to the spirit of whackiness that prevails.
Her books are a wild ride, but they can be a lot of fun, and a good way to forget whatever stresse you might be facing.
ETA: On the fourth read, the plot and characters are clear and enjoyable. That title, however, is still a mystery. ( )
