Yuki meets Itsuomi’s two best friends, one in person and the other via video chat on Istuomi’s phone. Then Yuki, Itsuomi, Rin, and Kyouya got on an outing by the river for a Sign Language Camp, where Yuki lets the others know the signs for words they ask about. Oh boy, the cliffhanger we get at the end of this volume with the boys… what in the world is going to happen there? A part of me is kind of rolling my eyes at it, but at the same time I want to know what happens! I really love the artwork, especially when it’s Yuki’s expressions - they’re always so cute. Also, the adorableness of her being in love for the first time makes me smile. I also find it interesting how interested Yuki is in Itsuomi’s hands; she talks about them a few times in this volume. As someone who communicates with her hands, that would be something someone would pay attention to huh? I’m still looking forward to reading the next volume to see what happens next. I’ll acknowledge Itsuomi is bland right now despite his love of travel, language learning, and his cute little girlfriend. So is Yuki for that matter. But the moments between Itsuomi and Yuki are sweeter than ever, and he arranges a trip for the friends to brush up and learn sign language. Love his thoughtfulness. I love shoujo because it has more of the Female Gaze. I don’t know why but men reversing cars has always been attractive and Yuki agrees lol. The mangaka really knows how to convey an intimate scene masterfully. Also, love triangle is heating up! That ending seems like it’s going in a fun direction or Review of vol 1 Review of vol 2 Review of vol 3 4.5 geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

"Yuki, a deaf college student who's led a relatively sheltered life, has just taken a huge step: She's got a boyfriend! And he seems like a keeper: Itsuomi is a multilingual globetrotter who works hard, and he's a knockout, to boot. Yuki can still scarcely believe that Itsuomi casually dropped the question, 'Wanna go out with me?' And she can't help wondering, when will Itsuomi start to open up to her about his past, and his dreams for the future? Is this a whim, or is it real?"-- Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |

Maybe it's the father in me, but my gut says this punk isn't good enough for Yuki. ( )
