Edición alemana An American in Paris falls in love with an engaged woman. Overrated, but it has its moments. Many of the musical numbers are boring. Kelly and Caron do just enough crazy impressive dancing to show that they've got no excuse to be so boring the rest of the time. I'm not sure why I ended up liking the movie, but I think it has more to do with the deluge of fifties style than any of its merits. Also, I'm a sucker for movies that go for an unreasonably long stretch of time without dialog. His friend Adam is a struggling concert pianist who's a long-time associate of a famous French singer, Henri Baurel. A lonely society woman, Milo Roberts, takes Jerry under her wing and supports him, but is interested in more than his art. (source: TMDb) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
