I would recommend this book to 1st through 5th graders. I think this age group would be appropriate because not only can students appreciate the aspect of sibling rivalry, but also the aspect of family adventures. ( )

Tricia and her older brother never get along. He drives her crazy. When her grandmother tells her about wishing on shooting stars, she gets a perfect idea. She wants to do anything better than her brother. Growing up with two brothers I could definitely relate to this story. I think any child with siblings would enjoy this story. The illustrations add to the humor of the story. Big brothers are a pain, but you have to love them. ( )
