I really, really wanted to love this book, especially with its powerful ecological message, but unfortunately it loses its way a bit. The opening chapters are outstanding - they draw you in, the writing and the characters are superb. Unfortunately I felt the book gets a bit lost somewhere in the middle and doesn't really regain it's early promise. It's still a good story and the environmental message is so important but it's unfortunately not a book I will keep. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
