Twisted Games is addictive and swoon-worthy #romance of Bridget and Rhys. This is more or less the same as the first book but with forbidden romance and royalty falling for normal person trope. I think this can be read as standalone but as this includes some events from the previous book I recommend to read this in order.

Writing is gripping, emotive, and entertaining. I loved the idea of the time jump here that is divided in two parts. The first part of the book in the same time frame as the first book while the second part extends the timeline. As it covers 4 years of timeline the first half is a little slow but it builds the story so well.

Plot is amazing in this book, even better than the first book and there also is suspense and mystery that I couldn’t guess until it was revealed. Characters are of course as amazing as plot and in this book too I absolutely loved their back story.

It was lovely to get to know both Bridget and Rhys.There is insta-lust but the romance is slow burn. There are many beautiful and lovely moments.

Climax is predictable and inevitable. I was anticipating it as they both were pretty much reckless. I was just surprised their tryst could go so far. What I loved most was who Rhys’ father turned out and what he discovered about him and also the mystery behind who leaked their pics.

Why 4 stars –

As much as I loved Bridget I didn’t like when she crawled to Rhys on his command. What happened to self-respect and dignity! And I also didn’t like Rhys for telling her to crawl. His possessiveness didn’t affect me until that point.

Overall, #TwistedGames is a gripping, addictive, and swoon-worthy forbidden romance with an amazing plot and characters. ( )

Mr. Larsen, the man that you are! I'm always down for a "oh we shouldn't be doing this type of romance" but to top it off we get a "I'm the only one who gets to see her this way" kind of man - and that, that's something that will hook me in every single time. ( )

The second I heard Rhys Larson’s name in Twisted Love, I knew I was going to love him and Bridget. This book DID NOT disappoint.

I was a little worried that Rhys would turn out to be a royal and that’s how they would end up together, but I’m so glad Bridget fought for their right to be married!!! She is a true queen! I think it’s going to be hard to top these two. ( )
