I could use this as a read-aloud in the classroom (Kindergarten) and would keep it in a classroom library for grades K-3. I could see kids liking this book because it is about animals. Most kids like reading books about animals because they may have pets at home that they bond with. ( )

This book for pre-level 1 is about puppy Mudge who likes to play. Mudge finds a cat friend named Fluffy. They run together, hide together, rest together, and play allot together, Fluffy purrs and climbs while Mudge does not climb and snores but they are still friends.
