MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

I love Christmas books for children and Bruce the Spruce is such a sweet adorable book about a Christmas tree who has served his family for many years. Until this year when the family bought a brand new tree and threw Bruce to the curb. Sad and lonely, someone picked him up for their party but it wasn’t what Bruce expected. Would he ever find a happy family again?

Bruce the Spruce: A New York City Fairytale About the True Meaning of Christmas Trees by A. A. Cristi is a book your children will love to read during the. Christmas holidays. It is festive, the story will brighten up their day. And the illustrations by Pablo Andreeta are so very adorable. I love the Christmas tree and the different faces. The entire book inside and out is so bright and vivid with its blues along with the colors of Christmas. I have read this story several times just to see the illustrations and how the words and pictures fit so perfectly together. I think this book would be a very good addition to your child’s library along with elementary school libraries and all daycare’s.

A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255. ( )

We meet Bruce the Spruce, and he wants to be the attention of the crowds. Will he learn a lesson and what he did for this job to learn his lesson in gratitude? We follow him on his journey from when he was taken and put on to the street to where he ends up.

Children will learn about being grateful and what you cherish. Will Bruce understand what it means to be a Christmas Tree? I enjoyed how this book ended; Children and parents will love this book. The author did a fantastic job with the plot of this story. The pictures are well done. I just loved how Bruce reacted and showed his emotions.
