A small booklet which has been produced to cater for the increasing demand for information on the growing of indigenous or local native plants for planting and direct seeding projects. Growing interest in revegetation has meant that a much greater range of native plant species are being grown, but information to successfully propagate these species has not been widely available. The first chapter outlines the reasons why local native plants should be grown. The second chapter examines seed germination, viability and dormancy. The third chapter provides information on the propagation of over five hundred native genera or species. Includes a bibliography. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
