A mouse carries his blanket everywhere and when he goes to school he has to stop. His mom makes it into a handkerchief. Owen is a little boy who loves his fuzzy yellow blanket and carries it with him wherever he goes. Owen's neighbor Mrs. Tweezers convinces his parents that he is too old to be playing with "Fuzzy" and offers them strategies for how to get rid of it. In the end, Owen's mother repurposes Fuzzy into handkerchiefs that he can bring with him to school. This book is intended for younger children and would be perfect to read in pre-k and kindergarten. It's a story about easing the transition between home and school. I think that many children would find the story relatable and comforting. The book is illustrated in Henkes's signature style -- colorful images of little mice and their families. I would highly recommend this book. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
