I wanted to get explanation or clarification of metaphors in the book and I think these cliffnotes do a decent job for that. However, if you're relying on this for a class, I'd recommend just reading the actual book because these cliffnotes get quite a number of important story details wrong. Toni Morrison puts things the way she does for a reason, so while these details may seem small, I think seeing them the way Morrison intended is important to truly understanding this story.
