Knuth is one of the greatest names in computer science so that this book is really exceptional. The book mirrors even one of Knuth's hobbies - it is exceptionally beautiful, because of its typgraphy. - Knuth is known for his inventon of TeX, practically the only typesietting software used nowadays for scientific texts containing formulas and graphs. This unusual longitudinal study of scripture by a noted computer scientist makes for a book which is as illuminating as it is gorgeous. If the Devil's in the details, so's the good!
