I still can't remember why I picked it up at a school book fair, but I can remember the emotions that flowed off the page. This book does leave you in an emotional wreck at the fate of the girl. Does she die? did she live? It's a question that's never answered, but reading this girl's story gripped me from the very first line. A brilliant read and a book that stays with you long after you've finished. A girl types in the dark of a cement prison, where she’s been left with food & water, her typewriter & paper. I’ve been curious about this one because I lived in Memphis when a girl there was kidnapped & later rescued from the ceiling space of a church. This story is an examination of a mind, rather than mystery or adventure. Some typos would have made it more realistic. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
