Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. This book had some interesting points, but the author was really long-winded and fairly hard to understand. I had to re-read sections several times to understand the argument he was trying to make - it wasn't a language thing, he just used lots of long sentences when he could have used a single sentence. Overall, I would only recommend the book if you have a lot of brainpower and time to spare. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

Ughhhhh. My relatively playful mind could not handle this type of writing. Lacking in real life examples and often repeating phrases and words (for emphasize?) caused it to really just become dry and monotonous. It was really hard for me to get through. I think the basic ideas represented in the book have merit, which is why I gave it two stars, but it's going to take a lot to chip away at all that language to find what he is really trying to say. The title was definitely deceiving as I was hoping that I would have been hopping, skipping, and jumping through the book. ( )
