The first book ([b:Howl's Moving Castle|6294|Howl's Moving Castle (Howl's Moving Castle, #1)|Diana Wynne Jones|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1407450489s/6294.jpg|2001])is the best by far.
The other two books are good too, but they don't quite measure up.
I have some qualms about [b:Castle in the Air|47520|Castle in the Air (Howl's Moving Castle, #2)|Diana Wynne Jones|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1441595370s/47520.jpg|1003952] - it's just not as good.
[b:House of Many Ways|2173611|House of Many Ways (Howl's Moving Castle, #3)|Diana Wynne Jones|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1293848674s/2173611.jpg|2179265] has the same feel as [b:Howl's Moving Castle|6294|Howl's Moving Castle (Howl's Moving Castle, #1)|Diana Wynne Jones|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1407450489s/6294.jpg|2001] and is no less magical in its own right.
Overall, this is a highly recommended series. (
