This book will take everything you may know about monsters and darkness in people are completely obliterate it to reveal that we all secretly route for the villains. Killian Carson is a different breed; his way of thinking or lack of feeling leaves the readers questioning what he will do next. Is he only obsessed with Glyn because he has fixated on her temporarily or could she be helping calm his demons? This story is full of lots of ups, downs, twists, turns, but most of all it left me breathless with anticipation. Killian has a way of crawling into your heart even though you should know better than allow it and that’s where Glyn finds herself, but the more time they go back and forth she can’t fight herself for to long. Getting to see all the kids and their different personalities leaves the door wide open for this series to take us on some very intense, yet epic journeys. From start to finish this book takes the readers for one heck of a ride through dark twistedness but has us loving every second of it. Killian can be my monster anytime!

I honestly do not know how I feel about this audiobook. I didn't hate it, but I didn't really love it either. The story was just meh for me. I could have gotten past that if the narration had been better. I hate saying it, because the narrators are usually top-tier. I don't know what happened, but I just didn't like the narration over-all and it definitely took me out of the story, I'm disappointed that I spent a credit for this. If I decide to continue with the series, more than likely, I will just read them. ( )

It was OK, but the insta love trope is getting tiring for me. However I did not feel like I want to DNF and it had a few claiming trope vibes so giving it 3 stars ( )

So I gave the book three stars. And the reason for this is because although it does meet my criteria for a dark romance, taboo-ish, I just found it to be detailed heavy. Also I didn't like the parents POV during the book. I think maybe they should have saved that for another book. Honestly I found it boring with all the details. I found myself skipping ahead to get past all of these details that were just driving me insane. The base story is good. I enjoyed that. Once I got past the details then it was good. So if you don't mind a heavy detailed book, then this is the book for you. But if you are more of an instant gratification kind of person like I am, then you might want to take a break when it comes to this book. Do I recommend it to my friends? Sure why not. ( )
