There are ghosts and goblins and a killer attacks and murders takes place in this story with lots of twists and turns. There is a lot of intermingling of characters from different worlds and their lives intersect later into a parallel world. I really enjoyed this crazy mixed up fantasy fiction novel. I enjoyed reading the stories in When Two Worlds Collide; the short-story format and the overall who-dun-it approach to the plots made it not only entertaining but nicely segmented so that I could pace my reading of it one story at at time. Some stories were easy to guess what was going on in the background and others definitely kept me wondering right up to the very end - very fun story arcs! Unfortunately, I can't say I enjoyed the writing style as much as the stories. The version I received required some much-needed editing both from a grammatical standpoint as well as the general flow. I also struggled to connect the title of the book to the collection of stories and wondered if I missed something in my reading of it that would have connected everything more cohesively. ( )

Thanks so much to the early reviewers on Library thing for this ecopy. I enjoyed each story in this book. I thought they were all written well, they were casual enough to enjoy and plod along with.

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book as part of an early review program. I overall enjoyed this book as a light read, but it was hard to get pulled in. For my taste, the writing is overly casual and does more telling than showing. A more thorough edit job would have served this book well, since the quality of the writing does not live up to the quality of the story.
