Owen's Marshmallow Chick is about Owen, who gets lots of stuff in his Easter basket. He eats up all of the candy except for the yellow chick which is the same color as his favorite blanket. He plays with his marshmallow chick and even puts it to sleep at night. This book is great for very young children, maybe ages 3-5.

This book would be good for starting readers because of the repetition in the story. I think students will like this book because of the repetition. ( )

Cute story that most little children would enjoy coupled with Henkes iconic illustrations. It ended a bit abruptly, but it's still good. ( )
