I really want to be neighbors to Mr. Putter and Mrs. Teaberry. 4Q- The Mr. Putter and Tabby series is generally excellent. This one is good, just lacks the subtle humor of some of the others. 5P- Kids will love this book. It is a good read for beginning readers and includes quality illustrations. When the winter storms hit, Mr. Putter decides he wants to write a mystery story. He think and thinks and thinks and comes up with a brilliant title, "The Mystery of Lighthouse Cove." His thinking wears him out and he decides to make a snack, ending his writing for the day. His second day of writing finds him distracted with so many household chores and of course, snacking and napping. All he manages to write is "Chapter One." On the third day, he writes a list of "good things" which he later shares with his neighbor Mrs. Teaberry. She finds his writing wonderful and together they go and and celebrate with vanilla shakes. Mr. Putter is just like a big kid! I love it! In this one he wants to write a mystery, but gets side tracked by snacks and naps! He eventually writes "Good Things", which is a list of good things! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
