They were absolute works of art, and really added to the story as a whole. If nothing else, kids will enjoy looking at them as they hear the book read to them. The story itself is written in rhyme, something that will make it easier for kids to read and hear. The message itself is positive and Christian (no surprise based on the title). It’s meant to teach kids to trust in God to guide them, and to have a positive outlook even in the face of uncertainty. A beautiful, sweet book that Christian families will be sure to enjoy together. ( ) What a great idea a poetry book about God for children. With great illustration in moving words the author isn’t short on an awe inspiring narrative with pictures to accompany the moving Tone of the book. From Paige to Paige we see the author‘s dedication to learning and to God and it’s a book I highly recommend. What a beautiful idea put into motion I couldn’t wait to show this to my seven-year-old daughter who loves God, nature and poetry and to say she love this book would be an understatement. Through God‘s eye is a book I definitely recommend if you want to teach a child to appreciate the greatness that God is then you need to buy them a copy of this book you will not regret it. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it. Through God’s Eye is a poetic and uplifting book, teaching a child how to see the positive side of life when things get difficult. The book has been thoughtfully written helping children to understand God’s plans from a different perspective other than their own. Author Carolyn Cutler Hughes has done a great job in keeping the writing style uncomplicated and the beautiful illustrations aid in keeping the stories easy for the little ones to follow. I'd definitely recommend the book to other parents, and it’s also one that they engage with in repeat reads man, many times, if my little person is anything to go by. Through God's Eye by author Carolyn Cutler Hughes is a wonderful rhyming story that teaches children the truth about God. It’s about his perspective on an individual’s life, and shows that he has a plan for each of us. I think this is a great way for children to learn that things may not turn out the way we want, but still the unexpected can have a positive result nonetheless. The book contains really cute illustrations that aid each heartwarming message. I found this to be a real heartwarming experience reading to my little one, and I think it could be perfect for parents who'd like a helping hand to guide their children in this way. Being open to many different walks of life and having an insatiable reading appetite has found me with many faith-based books on my digital shelves. I enjoy a handful that doesn’t come off preachy, but more often than not, I don’t even review them as I cannot connect. However, I liked this one and shared it with my two children. The art here is good, and the book caters to a solid message for kids. Hughes weaves in the right amount of lesson and faith without proselytizing. This book has strong roots in Christianity, so God is a focal point, but the lessons exist, and don’t force them on you with a consequence for not believing, as we see too often. Patience and seeing the beauty in life from a different perspective is a fantastic message My kids thought I was neat; I thought it was good as a faith-based children's book, and it was fun to get through. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
