Very comprehensive survey of developments in space and the possibilities of mining and permanent residence on the Moon and Mars. The number of countries with space programmes surprised me: it is easy to hear a news report and treat it as an isolated event. The prospects for the future are frightening, with destruction of satellites and rival claims to territory.
