Another historical fiction book but it is written in a way where it looks like a journal instead of a book. This is another great teaching tool for children regarding colonial times. ( ) This is another one of Marissa Moss' fake journals filled as much with drawing and doodles as writing. In this story, Emma is a farm girl living during the Revolutionary War who is sent to live with her aunt in Boston. We get a picture of the war and of life in Boston during the war. Through the characters of Emma and Thankful we get two different perspectives on the war, though Emma is a more sympathetic character. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
