Great material in a cute package (bad pun but it fits with the tone of this book).
While I'm perfectly happy with my "girls" (even with them leading the charge south) I really don't give them much thought outside of the occasional bra fitting and regular cancer checks. I never understood what all the fuss was about (breastfeeding was cool but I didn't want to go on and on about - after all it's not chocolate after all!); they're just boobs for heavens sake (although they do have the magical ability to turn some people into boobs). And with a general knowledge of breast cancer and specific knowledge of pregnancy/breastfeeding I thought I knew all I needed to know. I admit, the cover of the book reeled me in - anything that inventive deserved a looksee. I wasn't disappointed. Elisabeth Squires writes a wonderful book that reads between a medical reference and a fashion magazine. From growing 'em to stowing 'em, no topic goes untouched including plastic surgery, breastfeeding, bra fitting and what happens as the girls get a little mileage on 'em. A bra record sheet, a breast assessment sheet (along with visuals) and a extensive resources section (called "All the Breast Resources") make this a complete guide. I have a whole new appreciation for my girls and intend to treat them much better (and it was nice to know that other women have the same issues with bra fit and spillage/slippage - I thought it was just me). If you have "girls" I urge you to get this guide; if you love someone who has "girls" get this for them. The only caveat I have is that you might not want to get this for a newly sprouting teen - this may just be TMI (too much information) but for the older teen and beyond - great book! ( )
