This book was very meh... almost nothing stayed with me after reading it. ( ) I really enjoyed reading this book. When Molly and Cassie cannot get along well enough to complete their class project, and then end up throwing food at each other in the lunchroom, they get put on lunch duty. They have to work together in the cafeteria and learn to cooperate with one another. It is a lesson that takes them some time and many "incidents" to learn. The book is funny and heartwarming and felt so real to me. I loved the characters! I also enjoyed Bradley's first book, "24 Girls in 7 Days". Molly is a loner and she likes it that way. She goes out of her way to alienate her classmates, but it ends up getting her in trouble with the new girl, Cassie. Their food fights and arguements lead to the lunch lady quitting, and they must now provide lunch for the school. Their "punishment" will last until their lunches are better than the former lunchlady's. A funny, light-hearted read. They learn to compromise and get along and that sometimes simpler is better. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
