Spoilers* What a fun twist on 2 of our favorite mythical characters. This book was like reading all of the best Hallmark movies rolled into one. The best part is that the story is not overly cheesy which makes the mythical characters seem real. The entire diner scene in the beginning with all of our beloved main characters letdowns leading to the takeover of cupid was absolutely hysterical. Bonnie and Jackie are such a fun duo, I want to have more adventures with them. Some of the descriptions were so captivating that I found myself wanting a bowl of chicken noodle soup (as boring and bland as that may sound), but the way the author described it, made me want it! I became so engrossed by our cast of characters and who will be the 3rd couple to fall in love and will our heroine find love I completely forgot about the original cupid (glad he's ok).

After accidentally putting cupid out of commission, our heroin must take over his job at a marriage retreat and bless three couples with true love. Stumbling along in her new role, she finds that love has a habit of happening by itself and lots of time problems have a habit of sorting themselves out too.
A lovely light read; so snuggle up with your book and see you at the finish.

Jackie accidentally injures a Cupid and must take over his responsibilities, including leading a marriage retreat and identifying three couples who have found true love. The magic element is nicely integrated into the story, and Jackie's attempts to avoid playing Cupid are entertaining. Once she finally tackles the project, interesting secondary characters are introduced and developed, along with a potential love interest. Light, charming, fun, easy to read, very pleasant. Grab a hot chocolate and enjoy! (I received a copy of Christmas Cupid as part of the Early Reviewers program.) (

Christmas Cupid is everything sweet and cozy for a quick Christmas break read.
Jackie, after an accident that puts a cupid out of commission, finds herself in picturesque West Virginian mountains at a struggling to survive inn. She is in charge of replacing cupid at a Christmas marriage retreat to bless three couples that have true love and help save the inn for the charming owners Lu and Card. There are lots of fun characters to get to know and love throughout the book.

The story is creative and fun. Valentine's day vibes mixed with Christmas. What's not to love. (
