This story is like a really interesting adventure that mixes fantasy and science fiction. It's about a guy named Zen who starts from a simple beginning but ends up in a world that has both magical and scientific things. It's a big story about Zen growing up and facing all sorts of challenges. Imagine the Earth in the story is like a painting with fantasy and science fiction colours. Zen, the main character, has a big responsibility given by fate. He has a chance to do something important for all people. But it's not easy – he faces a lot of problems, feels alone, and deals with some really tough parts of life. "Searching for Zen: A Tale Of Divine Destiny" by Albert T. Franklin is a coming of age, spiritual fiction novel about a young boy from Britain, named Zen, who has extraordinary powers. The book tells a magical version of our world where Zen, the new Zendaria, is destined to lead humanity from what it is today into a place of Spiritual prosperity. This is a fast pace story, which I didn’t expect, but none the less did not dampen the enjoyment. Zen, has a divine future mapped out for him, but struggles along the way (as most of do!) with self discovery in a vividly imagined world, that the author has drafted. Searching for Zen was a journey worth taking. It's one of those books that lingers in your mind, popping up in your thoughts days after you've put it down, and I Would recommend it. But as always, dive in with an open mind and let the story take you where it will. 3.5 stars rounded to 4 This is a story of Zen who has special powers, discovered when he was a young boy. He can touch people and know their thoughts, or take their power from them. He, along with a few others, fight evil and eventually several of them fall in love. But, Zen has more to do, he has a test he must pass. This test will change their lives. Fantasy is not a genre I typically enjoy. I think some of the relationships could have been fleshed out a bit more, and if so, I may have liked it more. Diving into Searching for Zen by Albert T. Franklin was like jumping into a magical, whirlwind adventure – if magic meant a young British boy with universe-bending powers and adventure led to a rollercoaster through time and space, with a side of deep, spiritual musings. Zen, our hero (or should I say, super-mega-ultra hero?), is not your average kid. He's got this whole 'touch-and-learn-everything-about-you' trick up his sleeve, plus a little time manipulation for good measure. It's like every childhood game of pretend, but on cosmic steroids. The book barrels through Zen's epic quest like a toddler on a sugar rush. It's exhilarating, sure, but sometimes I just wanted to sit down with Zen, have a cup of tea, and actually get to know the guy behind the godlike powers. You know, the kind of chat where you really connect, not just exchange pleasantries while saving the world. Albert T. Franklin's imagination is wilder than my cat when she sees the vacuum cleaner. The story is stuffed with more creativity and heart than my attic is with forgotten hobbies. Still, a part of me wished the pages would take a breather, let us savor the moments like a good chocolate – slowly and with appreciation. In all, Searching for Zen is like a space opera meets spiritual guidebook, wrapped in a fantasy epic. It's for those who love their heroes powerful, their adventures fast, and their allegories deep. And if you're searching for a bit of Zen in your life – well, this might just be it, in book form. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

The book is the well-written journey of a boy named Zen, who has been sent on Earth with a purpose to fulfill. Although everyone has a planned role for the Almighty, his holds more significance. From feeling lonely to getting the strength to know your own worth, this is an amazing tale. The growth of the character is inspiring.
The author has flawlessly drafted the journey of a young boy who wants to know about himself and his surroundings and has uncovered a bigger truth.
The plot of the book is well written, the characters are well thought out, and the title, story line, and impeccable writing style of the author keep the readers tied to the book. I am glad I picked up this book to satisfy my thirst for spiritual knowledge. ( )
