Ducks sleep on one leg because a long time ago in Viet-nam, the ducks requested in writing that they be given more legs. The emperor gave them the last golden legs he had and and night the ducks tucked them away so they would not get stolen and now to this day that is why ducks sleep on one leg. This folklore teaches people how to be thankful of what they have and to not be afraid to go after what they want. The ducks showed perseverance and determination because of their desire to get another leg. They also cherished their legs like gifts. They have taken such good care of them that years later the tradition of them sleeping on one leg still occurs. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
