This read more like a novel than the first one (more focused, last meandering), and I enjoyed it quite a lot (maybe 3.5, but not enough to round up). It was pleasant, gentle, comforting, but not much more than that, for me. A nice rice pudding of a book--I read it before bedtimes, and it was perfect for that. Will happily read more in the series, I just won't be jumping up and down with excitement at the prospect of a new one, say. (Note: 5 stars = amazing, wonderful, 4 = very good book, 3 = decent read, 2 = disappointing, 1 = awful, just awful. I'm fairly good at picking for myself so end up with a lot of 4s). geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

Although the books are sold as juvenile, I am left with the impression that they would appeal more to adults. ( )
