A fictional account of how the plague laid waste to the English town of Eyam in 1665-1666. With a tame little love story thrown in for good measure. It was okay, although the middle dragged a bit and some of the actions of the main character were frustrating in a not-good way. As far as stories go, it was pretty good, but as far as plague narratives go, it wasn't my favorite. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

The book is quite short at 135 pages, which is just as well as there are no chapter breaks. ( )
