I've heard a few of Paul Harvey's radio broadcasts and loved them. I suppose his delivery made them as good as they were. Reading his stories in this book just wasn't the same. They seemed flat. I wonder if there are archived podcasts of his work. This collection of short stories about famous people, past and present, allows children to hear about the lives of many different people. The name of the famous person being highlighted in a story is untold until the last few lines of the story, making it fun for students to try and guess who the famous person might be. These are great for reading aloud (and are less than 5 minutes in length!) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
