This was so much fun to read and rhyme as well as match numbers! A young reader will be able to recognize some fun nursery rhymes as well as some fun number rhymes mixed in as well! ( ) This book's creative illustrations depict rhymes, counting, and imagination. The style is very unusual with a medieval fair appearance. The illustrations are done in gouache on watercolor paper (per illustrator's note) with a bit a pencil detail. The type is large and easy to read. Not my favorite book. I really love counting books. I think that books are a great way to involve numbers (and math) into younger class curriculum. Children are so eager to follow along, that they will count along with the book, and they quickly catch onto using the illustrations for clues if they don't know what number comes next. Counting can be fun with books like this one! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
