A book that talks about how long long ago, when your grandparent's grandparents were born, there were monsters in the world. The little boy telling the story talks about how he wouldn't be afraid and how monsters are just a part of the everyday life. He says, "If a monster comes into my room, I would say HI monster!" Really shows a positive view on monsters, could be a great book for a child going through fears of monsters under the bed, at night, etc.

A book full of imagination. According to a young boy, in the time of his great, great, grandparents monsters were everywhere. Monsters were in the city, as policemen, firefighters, garbagemen, and even a mayor. The monsters were in the country side too, they worked on farms, cutting hay, milking cows, and feeding pigs and chickens. Monsters even played sports! But now in the time of the young boy, monsters are only around late at night, they clean, do laundry, and fix things around the house. ( )
