This book provides information on the life of knights. However, it uses a clever conceit: The reader's father has been captured and held ransom that he cannot pay. Instead, the reader's father has sent this book to teach his son to become a knight and rescue him when he has learned enough. The book uses the popular pop-up, openable, and removable features that are in many pseudo-informational books lately. This book teaches squiring, jousting, castle design basics, siege warfare, and even mentions some famous knights and legends. This would be a great book to include as a resource for students in studying life in the middle ages. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
